ive met a couple people from here, but thats about it. seems like everyones from california, and/or about 10 years older than me. (im 23 and from atlanta.)

about lying: yep, ive fallen victim to that also. one lied about her age, and two about their physique. i dont get their strategy, particularly if they really want to meet up with someone and the truth will be revealed anyway. people just need to be happy (and truthful) with who they are, everyones got their insecurities.

Nope. This isn't exactly a great site for meeting people to date unless you live in a populous area. I don't know of any local women on this site who are both single, and who actually use the site.

I met one woman so far from tribe.net..and she's a sweetheart...it was just as I would hope for...down to earth people, with no attitude and no pretense whatsoever...I hope any future meetings I have with tribe man or tribe woman are exactly the same! :-)

I just thought I'd hop back on to this post to say that I have in fact, met someone through tribe that I am quite serious about. This is notable since I have been pretty active with online dating for years now, and this is the first person that truly promises to be someone that I can have a serious, long term relationship with. Whooda thunkit?

I'm curious...just how much did she lie? I've been on-line dating for years (off and on) and there was only one time the guy was WAY off from his picture. Let's see: there are categories these sites want you to put yourself into. Athletic may not mean a woman will show up looking like Venus or Serena. We can all figure out that if a woman says she is voluptuous, then she is at least 50 lbs over. I'm not trying to give you a hard time, but to dismiss a woman because she has a couple extra pounds is sad because you could be over looking a great girl. But, I guess we live in San Diego where looks are the goal, eh?
